A translucent manifestation of strange energies from the dark
Perhaps vibrations of a different nature
Out of dimensions we cannot understand in this place and time
Ectoplasmic incarnations - revelations with intentions
From the spirit world - a residual or another kind...
It hits you at a soul level when you first experience
What you can't wrap your brain around from the start
Is it madness...is it real? The apparition you can feel
In a lonely corridor past the gates of nevermore…
From the corner of your eye, something’s passing by
A specter in the fog - that calls out from afar
Some kind of lonely memory - trapped within another part of time
Reaching out from beyond...
You don’t believe and yet you see - as the air’s as cold as ice
Moving past and present moments - sometimes sadness, it conveys
From beyond the earthly grave - a message to be giving
That it calls upon the living...
Then the question that remains - is one that’s unexplained
And with all that said and done - why are you the chosen one?
Is it evil incarnate - was it human once before?
And elemental phantom that haunts an English castle ruins
Is it energies left on land - of blood spilled out by man?
Or just a soul transcending time - looking for some peace of mind?
Trapped within the Astral Plane - a spirit just like you and I
Caught within infinity…
